What are the costs and conditions of return?

The following shipping information is valid for online purchases for individuals only. Commercial customer orders may be subject to different conditions than those stated below.

– SHIPPING FEES AND DELIVERY TIMES

You will receive an email when your order leaves our warehouse. Orders from the greater Montreal area and many cities and regions of the province of Quebec will be delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, you will be notified in advance by the shipping company. For orders to be delivered in remote areas of Quebec, the carrier will send you an email including a tracking number for your order that you can consult.

Delivery times vary from 1 to 4 business days for the Greater Montreal area, several cities and regions of Quebec and from 2 to 4 business days for remote areas of the province of Quebec.

It is the customer’s responsibility to indicate the correct delivery address. In case of error, send an email immediately to [email protected] with your order number, full name and the correct address. Shipping charges may be withheld. This also applies in the case of unclaimed or refused packages.

Here is the information concerning the delivery rates:

Quebec City and surroundings

– Free delivery for any order of 175$ and more with a total weight of 25 kg or less

– Between 30$ and 175$ with a maximum weight of 25 kg : the fees are 20$.

– Between 30$ and 175$ with a weight superior to 25 kg : the fees are 20$ + surcharge (0,55$ per kilogram)

– Order of $175 and more with a weight superior to 25 kg: surcharge of $0.55 per kilogram

For all delivery methods, rates are based on weight:

– Quebec with surcharge: between 30$ and 175

– Quebec without surcharge: $175 and more;

– Canada with surcharge: between 30$ and 250$.

– Canada without surcharge: it’s $250 and more;

*Taxes are added on the shipping fees.

For orders of $130.00 and more (before taxes and promotions), delivery is free.

– Shipping charges are calculated on the total weight of the order plus taxes. The shipping calculator will indicate the amount associated with your order at step #3 of the checkout.

Delivery outside of Canada

Currently, Merci Foods delivers exclusively within Canada. If you have any questions, suggestions or requests, please contact our customer service by email at [email protected] or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. A member of our team will contact you within 24 hours.

Free in-store pick-up

In Montreal only, free pick-up of your package is offered in each of our five stores. To do so, you must select the store of your choice at step #3 of the checkout process. A member of our team will contact you once your package is ready for pick-up. You will be asked for proof of purchase at the time of pickup.

Packages for pick-up will be held at the selected store for 7 business days after which they will be returned to our warehouse.

Lost package

It is rare that a package gets lost in transit. If you encounter this problem, please contact our customer service by email or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4 pm.

Rest assured that we will follow up with the delivery service. You can also view the status of your order on your online account or by clicking on the link attached to your order confirmation email.

Damaged items during delivery

Aliments Merci makes sure to ship the items in saleable condition and to pack them properly in order to avoid any breakage during transport. If you receive a damaged item, you have 5 days following the reception of the merchandise to communicate with our customer service by email or by phone at 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4 pm.

Perishable products

We try to ship products with an expiration date of more than one month. In the event that the expiration date of a product is less than our objectives, we will promptly contact you by email or telephone to inform you of the possible alternatives.

– RETURN POLICY

Cancellation of an order

To cancel a current order, please contact our customer service by email or call 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm directly after placing and paying for the order. If your order has already been prepared or shipped, we cannot cancel your order or give you a refund.

Return of goods

It is possible to return your merchandise within 30 days of your order receipt date if there is a problem with the quality of the products requested. If there was an error in the order or if products were damaged during transport, you have 5 days following the reception of the goods to communicate with our customer service by email or phone at 514-955-7295 ext. 228 from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 4 pm. The products to be returned must be intact and in their original packaging

Once authorized, the refund will be made on your credit card within 1 to 3 business days following the reception of the product at our warehouse. The refund is effective on the value paid by the customer on the product(s) including taxes.
